The iPhone is one of the two largest smartphone platforms in the world alongside Android, and is a large part of the luxury market. Touch ID is still used for the budget iPhone SE series. Since iPhone X, iPhone models have switched to a nearly bezel-less front screen design with Face ID facial recognition, and app switching activated by gestures. Up to iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhones had a single button on the front panel with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Since the iPhone's launch, it gained larger screen sizes, video-recording, waterproofing, and many accessibility features. The iPhone was the first mobile phone with multi-touch technology. As of 2022, the iPhone accounts for 15.6% of global smartphone market share. As of November 1, 2018, more than 2.2 billion iPhones had been sold. Since then, Apple has annually released new iPhone models and iOS updates. The first-generation iPhone was announced by then-Apple CEO Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007. which uses Apple's own iOS mobile operating system. While you’re in the markup window, you can mark up the screenshot using any of the drawing tools at the bottom. In Full Page mode, you can scroll through the page by holding down and moving the slider bar on the right ( Figure B). Tapping the option for Full Page will save the entire page in its full length. Tapping the option for Screen will save only the visible portion of the page. The top of the markup window offers you a choice between Screen and Full Page. After you’ve taken the screenshot, tap the preview thumbnail that appears in the lower left corner to go into Markup mode. On an older iPhone or on an iPad with Touch ID, press and release the top or side button and the Home button at the same time. On an iPhone X or later, or on an iPad with Face ID, press and quickly release the side button and the volume up button at the same time. Press the appropriate buttons to take a screenshot. You can hold your device in either portrait or landscape mode.
